L'écorce des arbres, un micro-environnement méconnu : étude de la variation du pH

Abstract : Several scientific works have described the pH of tree bark as one of the main drivers of the distribution and richness of epiphytic communities However, this parameter still remains poorly mastered, especially as regards the temperate forests of Europe In order to better understand how the pH of tree bark varies in our forests, a study was carried out at the scale of the Auvergne region to measure the pH of more than 400 bark samples The tree species under study displayed characteristic pH ranges, and a list of the pH values of the tree species found in the region was established
