The Clermont Vichy Auvergne metropolitan area initiated a process of consultation and cooperation with the actors of this territory under construction. Place of discussion and cooperation between inter-municipal territories, supported by local stakeholders keen to maintain a balanced development of the territory, the project approach remains to be invented. To consider its future, the Urban Planning and Development Agency of Clermont Metropole decided to contribute to this reflection by implementing an original initiative of local animation entitled : “workshop landscapes in situ”. Using various experts, these workshops helped to characterize the metropolitan area’s landscapes, to share their views and to reproduce the visions produced. Le pôle métropolitain Clermont Vichy Auvergne a engagé une démarche de concertation et de coopération avec les acteurs de ce territoire en construction. Espace de discussion et de coopération entre territoires intercommunaux, porté par des acteurs locaux soucieux de maintenir le développement d’un territoire équilibré, la démarche de projet reste à inventer. Pour penser son devenir, l’Agence d’urbanisme et de développement Clermont Métropole a décidé de contribuer à cette réflexion en mettant en œuvre une initiative originale d’animation locale intitulée : atelier paysages in situ. Faisant appel à différents experts, ces ateliers ont contribué à caractériser les paysages du pôle métropolitain, à en partager les regards et à définir des orientations pour le projet territorial.
