L’IPN : l’indicateur de performance nourricière de l’exploitation agricole

Abstract : The farm nourrishing performance index (FNPI) was developed to measure the food potential of farms. The FNPI calculation relies on widely recognized and available data: the same as those used by FAO to achieve the national Food Balance Sheets. The FNPI has different possible purposes. At the farm level, it can be a decision support tool as well as a positive communication argument. At larger scales, it allows to assess the possible consequences of certain development policies on food performance of territories.
